This third issue of EPF's quarterly e-bulletin highlights the impact of our programs that promote strategic investments by local businesses and joint ventures into the long-term social and economic development of the South Caucasus countries. Corporate Philanthropy Encouraged in Azerbaijan

To encourage the strategic investments by local businesses and joint ventures into the long-term social and economic development, EPF hold a series of CSR seminars in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. In April 2008 a steering committee meeting was organized in Georgia to start a new project on the development of endowment legislation under the Corporate Social Investment Program. Read More...
Cooperation to Promote an Effective and Responsible Philanthropic Environment
Philanthropy and grant making in Armenia are inevitably affected by global trends and face a number of challenges: How to continue philanthropic and civic initiatives when international assistance to Armenia expires? How to engage businesses in strategic, transparent, value-oriented grant-making? How to coordinate efforts and engage Diaspora-based foundations and individuals in the development of an effective and responsible philanthropic environment in Armenia? Taking into consideration these challenges, in 2008 Eurasia Partnership Foundation launched an informal initiative to gather Armenian grant makers and philanthropists. Read More...
