Regional Cooperation 

 This fourth issue of EPF's quarterly e-bulletin highlights the impact of our programs on promoting the regional cooperation. EPF's cross-border activities promote confidence building across the South Caucasus region by leveraging regional economies of scale, exchanging regional and international best practices, sharing innovative ideas, and fostering cooperative networks among civil society, media, and businesses from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

 Model Caucasus Parliament

Creative Commons (CCi) - EPF: Creative Partnership

cc.logo.large_400Since summer 2008, EPF has closely cooperated with Creative Commons International (CCi) to establish the Creative Commons (CC) licensing framework in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The web-based application helps people to share their creative work in the public domain or retain their copyright while licensing them as free for certain uses, under certain conditions.  EPF Brings Together Azerbaijani and Armenian Journalists

media_bias_training_400As part of an EPF program funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, on March 27-29 22 journalists and editors from Armenia and Azerbaijan (11 from each country) met to develop a joint Action Plan. The plan includes recommendations and guidelines to media professionals, policymakers, and NGOs which aim to increase accuracy and unbiased reporting as well as plans for innovative pilot projects to be implemented in each country.  Read More..
